Your Commission Options

Every space is different, and so is every client’s vision. When commissioning a painting, you have the ultimate flexibility:

  • Inspired by an Existing Work: Did you see a piece in my portfolio that you love, but it has already sold or isn't quite the right size? We can use it as a starting point. You can request something similar while adjusting the color palette, backdrop, or specific design elements to perfectly match your space.

  • A Completely Original Concept: If you have a brand-new idea, mood board, or specific aesthetic in mind, we can work together from the ground up to design a completely original concept.

  • Custom Sizing: I offer artwork in virtually any size. We can utilize standard canvas dimensions or build a custom-sized canvas to specifically fit your unique wall space.

THE PROCESS.

  • To begin, please reach out via my Contact Page or email me directly at art@elizabethazadi.com. In your message, please include:

    • Your contact information

    • A brief description of your project details (preferred size, colors, inspiration, and the space it will hang)

    The best time and days to reach you for a phone call

  • Once I receive your inquiry, I will contact you via phone at your preferred time. During this call, we will discuss your project details, creative vision, and the expected timeline for completion.

  • Following our consultation, I will send you a formal proposal and quote for your custom piece. If you agree to the pricing and terms, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot on my schedule and officially begin the project.

  • Before my brush even touches the canvas, I will prepare approximate mockups of the design. This ensures we are on the exact same page creatively. Once you approve the mockup, the painting process begins!

    (Availability of the Mockup of the design depends on the style of the painting and details involved. The project details will determine if I will need to provide a mockup for review.)

  • Once the commission is completed, you will be the first to review it. You are welcome to visit my studio/gallery to view the painting in person. If you are not local or cannot make it to the studio, I will send high-resolution photos and videos of the completed piece for your final approval.

  • Upon your final approval, the remaining 50% balance is invoiced. Once paid, we will schedule the pickup, shipping, or local delivery of your new painting.

Additional Details & Policies

  • Certificate of Authenticity: Every custom painting comes signed, dated, and is accompanied by an official Certificate of Authenticity.

  • Timeline: Most commissions take approximately 6 to 8 weeks to complete from the time the deposit is received, depending on the size and complexity of the piece. Rush orders may be available upon request.

  • Delivery: I offer domestic shipping within the UNITED states. If you are local, we can arrange for studio pickup or professional delivery. (ExtrA COST for SHIPPING OR DELIVERy)

  • Framing: Custom framing options are available upon request and can be factored into your initial quote.

  • Copyright: As the artist, I retain all copyrights and reproduction rights to the artwork.
